The Enfrightened Ones are those who fell prey to their own curiosities and now take an academic view of horror. They believe horror’s influence can be seen throughout history, from folklore to fairy tales, and even more so since the advent of the “moving picture.”

They write with the goal of welcoming more voices into the conversation surrounding the horror genre. While the nature of the writing is academic, the goal is to keep the language accessible, so that we may grow our flock and welcome ALL into our little cult.

While their main goal is to write about horror, they also believe in writing horror. In order to welcome more voices, Enfrightened will release the occasional anthology of horror stories in collaboration with some of the leading voices in the horror genre.
